Anna Snider
Managing Director, Head of Due Diligence, Bank of America; Board Chair, High Water Women — Anna Snider is Managing Director and Head of Due Diligence for the Chief Investment Office within Global Wealth & Investment Management, Bank of America. In this role, Anna is responsible for manager research across all asset classes for the wealth management businesses. She also defines and executes investment strategies focusing on impact strategy research, thought leadership and investment implementation. Prior to this role, Anna was part of the alternative investments group where she advised clients on hedge fund and private assets portfolio construction and became head of research for externally managed alternative investment fund of funds. She was also a senior analyst in the risk management division at U.S. Trust. Anna offers many years of investment and risk analysis experience, having held positions at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, JP Morgan and UBS focusing on market, credit and operational risk management. Anna graduated from Connecticut College. She holds the Chartered Alternative Investment AnalystSM(CAIASM) designation. Anna serves as chair of the board for High Water Women, a foundation based in New York City.

Ariane de Vienne
Global Head of Asset Owner Strategy, Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS); Board President, High Water Women — Ariane de Vienne is Global Head of Asset Owner Strategy at Institutional Shareholder Services. She is leading a global mandate to deepen ISS’ relationships with asset owners and consultants across ISS. Before that, Ariane was Head of ESG Strategy Americas, and part of the leadership team establishing ISS ESG as the leader and gold-standard in the responsible investment industry. Ariane joined ISS via oekom research in May of 2016. Having begun her banking career in Germany, Ariane gained extensive experience with her own impact and ESG consulting businesses in Hong Kong and New York.
Prior to that she was Managing Director at Guggenheim Investment Advisors LLC and served as Senior Vice President at David J. Greene and Company as well as in several Managing Director roles at JPMorgan Chase, leading multi-disciplinary teams. Ariane serves on the Board of Directors of several non-profit organizations focusing on social impact as well as ecological issues, including the US Board of The Climate Group. She is also an Ambassador to TBLI, a Dutch-based organization dedicated to raising awareness about the benefits and opportunities of ESG and impact investing.

Anita Baldwin
Managing Director & Head of Research and Sustainable Investing, Investment Advisory Group, Hartford Funds; Board Member, High Water Women — Anita Baldwin is a Managing Director and Head of Research and Sustainable Investing within the Investment Advisory Group at Hartford Funds and is responsible for the investment oversight of a platform of Fixed Income, Equity and Multi Asset mutual funds and ETFs.
Prior to joining Hartford Funds Anita was a Vice President and Director of Fixed Income Due Diligence within Investment Management & Guidance for Bank of America/ Merrill Lynch, primarily responsible for the selection and monitoring of fixed income strategies for the wealth management business. Anita began her career in the Financial Services industry, spending 10 years as a municipal credit analyst and serving as Senior Vice President and Senior Credit Officer for Moody’s Investors Service.
Anita has an M.P.A from Baruch College and a B.A from Binghamton University and also has her Chartered SRI Counselor certification from the College for Financial Planning. Anita lives in Avon-by-The-Sea, New Jersey with her husband and two dogs.

Managing Director, Investor Relations, BC Partners; Board Member, High Water Women — Baily is Managing Director in Investor Relations at BC Partners in New York. Previously, she was Head of US Strategic Partnerships at Ninety One (formerly Investec Asset Management), where she was responsible for business development and fundraising with US institutional clients. Prior to this, Baily was a principal at The Abraaj Group and a director at Endeavor Global. Baily began her career at Lehman Brothers in the fund of hedge funds group.

Darcy Garner
Managing Partner, Channel Family Assets; Board Member, High Water Women — Ms. Garner has over 20 years leadership experience in the investment management industry, and serves as an advisor to entrepreneurial individuals and families. She started her firm, Channel Family Assets in 2011 and works with high net worth families around their investments, estate planning, and family education. From 2002-2011, Ms. Garner was a founding Partner of HighmountCapital, a $2.5 billion dollar wealth management firm with offices in New York, Boston, Amsterdam and Zurich. While at Highmount, Ms. Garner was directly involved in having her firm achieve a number of awards, including the PAM Awards as the best multi-family office in 2011. She was responsible for the firm’s internal investment capabilities and led the investment portfolios and staff. During her tenure, she was responsible for the firm’s marketing and branding. While at Highmount, Ms. Garner was responsible for developing governance and financial education programs for families.Ms. Garner received her BS from Tulane University in New Orleans and her MBA from Thunderbird, The Graduate School of International Management in Glendale, Arizona. Ms. Garner has served on a variety of non-for-profit boards including K.I.D.S. and was a founding and advisory member of The Redwoods Initiative. She has been a member of the Women’s Presidents Organization (WPO), Financial Women’s Association (FWA), New York Society of Security Analysts (NYSSA), The CFA Institute, Financial Planning Associations (FPA), and STEP. She holds a series 65, and has her Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. She has been a member of Golden Seeds, a women’s angel investing group and on the Board of Springboard Enterprises, a venture catalyst for emerging growth ventures led by women. She recently co-founded The Foundation for Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment and served as the Chief Financial Officer.

Kathleen M Kelley
Founder, Queen Anne's Gate Capital; Board Member, High Water Women — Kathleen Kelley is the founder of Queen Anne's Gate Capital. Previously, Kathleen Kelley was a Global Macro Portfolio Manager at Kingdon Capital Management LLC. Prior to this, she served two years as a global macro strategist at Vantis Capital Management in New York. She joined Vantis from Tudor Investment Corporation where she ultimately managed a portfolio focusing on fixed income and commodities. She began her career at Tudor in 1990 providing economic research for Paul Jones, she then spent a number of years in their systematic trading group, developing trading systems. Prior to Tudor she spent three years at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York as an economist in the international research area. Kathleen is on the Board of ReServe and BELL (Building Educated Leaders for Life). She has a BA in math and economics from Smith College and a general course diploma from the London School of Economics.

Head of Private Funds Nasdaq Private Market, CAIA; Board Member, High Water Women — Athena is responsible for driving the development of the Private Funds business at Nasdaq Private Market (NPM). NPM is addressing the challenges of liquidity in alternative investment funds by creating opportunities for new product vehicles and broadening access to new sources of capital through their technology powered marketplace.Athena joined Nasdaq in 2018, bringing over 20 years of experience in financial services. At Merrill Lynch, she as a leader across various roles in the Alternative Investments (AI) business for almost 10 years. In addition to managing relationships with the firm’s AI fund partners, she also hired and led a team who championed adoption of hedge funds and private equity with the largest and most sophisticated clients of the firm. Before joining Merrill Lynch in 2007, she spent over ten years at Citigroup where she was a Director of Alternative Investment Sales at Citigroup Alternative Investments, driving third party distribution of proprietary hedge funds and private equity. Athena started her career in Citigroup’s Global Corporate & Investment Bank, and spent seven years in NYC, London and Dublin, working in Corporate Finance. Athena is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst, and received her B.A. in Economics from Columbia College at Columbia University. She lives in Montebello, NY with her husband Rich and their three boys. Outside of her career and being a hockey mom, she enjoys her directorship on the board of High Water Women, and is an accomplished musician and recording artist.

Former Federal Reserve Bank manager of US Treasury's assets for US military, navy and big banks (JPM, PNC, G&D, VISA). Former data architect at IBM, Hewlett Packard, IBM, Goldman Sachs, worked as a GP at a TMT fund (acquired). Awarded global leader under 40 as a founder of storytelling platform of she-vc.com, championed $100B combined capital for Diversity capital allocation in women and minority GPs and LPs. She is a board of director of large asset management firms, ESG companies and also on the non-profit alumni board of Harvard Kennedy School. Physics, Math and Economics/Finance graduate.

Managing Associate, Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe; Board Member, High Water Women — Kayla Southworth is a Managing Associate in the New York office of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe and a member of the firm’s M&A and Private Equity Group. Kayla advises private equity funds, their portfolio companies, and public and private technology and energy companies in domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, minority and majority investments, joint ventures, and other complex transactions. She also has experience advising clients in all aspects of New York and Delaware corporate, partnership, limited liability company, and non-profit law, including corporate governance and fiduciary duty matters.
Prior to joining Orrick, she was an Antitrust Associate at Davis Polk and a Litigation Associate at Sullivan & Cromwell. She is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School, and she is admitted to practice law in New York. She serves as the Corporate Secretary for High Water Women Foundation.

Chief Executive Officer, Hedge Connection; Board Member, High Water Women – Lisa Vioni is the Co-Founder and CEO of Hedge Connection, the only patented capital introduction platform for the hedge fund industry. Hedge Connection was launched in 2005 and has been responsible for giving hundreds of hedge fund managers a platform to build relationships and raise significant capital. The platform is now licensed by institutions so that they can offer virtual capital introduction to their clients. Lisa is literally the inventor of virtual capital introduction for the hedge fund industry as she has received two patents for the business methodology of putting hedge funds and investors together online.
Lisa began her career in 1990 as a mortgage-backed securities specialist at Prudential Securities and later Lehman Brothers. She left the sell side to become an internal hedge fund marketing executive in 1998. Before launching Hedge Connection, Lisa was Director of Marketing at Ellington Management Group, a multi-billion-dollar credit hedge fund company. She received a BA in French Studies from Smith College in 1990 and is pursuing an MBA at the University of Oregon. Lisa loves theater and has produced three Broadway shows including Long Day’s Journey into Night in 2003 for which she won a Tony Award.

Susan Webb
Founder and CEO/CIO, Appomattox Advisory, Inc; Board Member, High Water Women — Susan Webb is the founder and CEO/CIO of Appomattox Advisory, a boutique investment management firm. In this capacity, she is a member of the Investment Committee responsible for identifying and evaluating managers as well as managing portfolios. Prior to co-founding Appomattox, she was Head of First Atlas Capital, Inc., the SEC Registered Advisor of Atlas Capital, a multi-billion dollar global fund of hedge funds manager. She was a member of the Global Investment Committee and launched, with Weston Capital, the Weston Atlas Manager Seeding Platform.
Her career in finance spans over 30 years where she developed an expertise in trading, financing, and structuring derivatives. Susan began her career at Irving Trust in 1984 where she completed the credit analyst program and worked in loan work outs. She left after 2 years and joined trading desks for five years each at Citibank, Paribas Capital Markets and CIBC. While there she either joined, or set up and ran, derivative trading groups including interest rate, currency, equity, credit and hedge fund structuring. In 2000, she joined Caisse des Depots as a Managing Director and established their credit derivative and synthetic CLO and hedge fund structuring business in the US. She has 12 years direct experience managing portfolios of hedge funds. She received a BA from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia.
Susan Webb is a board member for GTI Capital Group, and investment firm focused on opportunities in India. She does not receive compensation in connection with GTI Capital Group or any business activity outside of Appomattox. Susan is on the board of High Water Women, a non-profit foundation that encourages financial education of women and youth. She is also on the advisory board of Catalyst Financial Partners, a group that promotes small and emerging managers in the financial industry.
