The following opportunities are currently available to teach personal finance basics to low-income teens and adults in NYC. Please sign up for at least two dates at the same site for the four week programs and four dates for the eight week programs. You may sign up for one date at the single session programs. If you have not previously taught financial literacy with High Water Women, we will schedule a brief training and will provide all curriculum materials. BronxWorks
Summer Youth Employment Program
 
Dates: Wednesday, June 13 and Friday, June 15
Time: 4:30 PM - 7:00 PM
Location: 1130 Grand Concourse (between 166th and McClellan Street), Bronx
(Take the D to 167th Street, the site is about one block from the station).
 
DOHMH NFP Program
 
This program is being offered to women served by the Nurse Family Partnership, an organization that supports low-income first-time mothers helping them successfully change their lives and those of their babies by providing registered nurses to visit them regularly for two and a half years from pregnancy forward. Each session will focus on one area of financial literacy.
 
Dates: Thursdays, July 19, August 16, and October 18
Times: 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM
Location: NFP - Jamaica East, 90-27 Parsons Blvd., Jamaica (Take the E/J/Z to Jamaica Center Parsons/Archer Station.  The site is a five minute walk from the station).
